I really enjoyed today. It is really amazing to learn about al these new tools.
I have created a map of all the holiday favourite destinations of the DFI group. I think this might be something fun to do with my L2 students while we are doing International dishes.
I also learned how to use data from a blog post and create a chart to display manipulated data.
Can't wait to see what we are going to learn next week!
Kia ora Maryke,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed how you created your Chart on Google Sheets. I love the colours and how bright it is.
I also like your idea that you are thinking about using google maps with international dishes! Sounds like fun.
Hope you are well :)

Hi Maryke
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you can see lots of potential for students to engage with both Google Maps and Google Forms. I have seen Google Maps used by a Food Technology teacher who had students create a map to show where New Zealand foods are shipped around the world. Students had a lot of fun with that and their engagement was really high.
Can you see how blogging might support and even extend students' learning?
